M.Tech Information Technology

M.Tech IT: This two year program provides rigorous training in the field of IT. Core curriculum includes Information Systems Design, Communication Systems and Networking, Foundations of Computing Systems, and Internet and Web-based Technologies. Students have to take up four electives from a wide choice of subjects, such as Embedded Systems, E-Commerce Systems, Parallel Computing etc. At the end of the study program, students have to submit their thesis and clear a comprehensive viva round in order to earn their degree.

Eligibility: Eligibility: BE / B.Tech or its equivalent in any discipline or MCA / MSc (CS) / MSc (IT) / MIT / MCM or its equivalent from recognized University or M.Sc. in any discipline with mathematics as a major component in B.Sc. or DOEACC "B" level.

Objective of the course: After completing M.Tech IT distance learning course, you can pursue further research in a core area of your interest. Candidates can also choose to join teaching and engage in academics. There is also an option to boost your professional growth by earning a postgraduate degree in Technology through distance education. You can also use the knowledge acquired in any entrepreneurial venture or consultancy service.
